Somatic has just co-released the single “memory piece” by Cesspool Dreams, my new project with Matt Finney, as a teaser for our upcoming Paper Angels album that they’ll be putting out on cassette & digital formats later this year. They’ll have a teaser track up for that as well soon on their site, but for now, you can get your ears around this standalone piece as a re-introduction to Cesspool Dreams. It’s a cold, stark song–featuring Matt’s unique voice and lovely text. It’s a bit stripped-down and undressed compared to the density of our upcoming Somatic full-length, but it sets the mood, and heralds in the new year after the shitty last one…
