Review – Terrible Lovers’ Ghosting

After a swirling, moody, melodic intro, Terrible Lovers tear through the fabric of sound with the angular stomp of “Take Me To My Car,” and the first thing the ears notice about Ghosting is the doubled vocal stylings and howling screams of featured vocalist and lyricist Casper Hunt. From song to song, Casper spews forth personal tales of loss and woe, while the rest of the band grinds out relentless, rockin’ numbers. It’s all driven by gnarly baritone guitar, and a rhythm section that batters the stereo spectrum to bits, as on the rolling riff mayhem of “Bitch Legs.” And then it’s over! 5 super short songs, ending with the masterful instrumental “Aftercare.”

Thank You for doing the review. I didn’t realize i wasn’t following them on Bandcamp. Really dig the baritone and atmosphere on this one.
